The ratio of BOREAS Teknoloji's exports to its total turnover in 2021 was 50 percent

Boreas Teknoloji General Manager Müge Lülecioğlu was the guest of the “Export Special” file of the Construction World Magazine. Explaining her company’s goal and vision, Müge Lülecioğlu said, “While our export rate reached 50% of our total turnover in 2021, we once again showed how assertive we are in the global market of the sector.”

With the pandemic, the economic system has come to a standstill in almost many countries. Insufficient demand and serious reductions in international commercial activities continued to show their effects in many sectors around the world in 2021. Despite this, according to the latest figures announced by ISIB, the air conditioning sector, which continued to grow in 2021, became one of the sectors in which Turkey increased its export capacity the most.

GROWTH CONTINUED IN THE AIR CONDITIONING SECTOR IN 2021

While the export of air-conditioning products in Turkey has grown by approximately 35% compared to the previous year, its share in the country’s exports since the beginning of 2021 has been 2.7%. The export size of the sector in 2021 reached 6.2 billion dollars. While European countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy are among the countries with the highest exports, Turkey also targets large markets such as Central Asia, Africa and South America for its exports in the air conditioning sector.

We are confident that Boreas Teknoloji will increase its exports to many more countries in the coming years, with the encouragement we get from this growth. While our export rate reached 50% of our total turnover this year, we once again showed how assertive we are in the global market of the sector.

Our products and solutions are preferred in many European countries such as England, Germany and Spain, where Açık Holding, which we are a part of, also maintains its activities strongly. In addition, we carry out works that guide the right solutions in many countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Dubai, Kuwait, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ireland and Australia, and we continue to create value for the sector in the international arena.
